VINNYTSIA STUDENT DEVELOPED WRIST GPS NAVIGATOR FOR ARMY

31/03/2015

Dmytro Kryvyi, a second year student at Vinnytsia National Technical University (Computer Engineering faculty), presented his new device developed for army.

The invention is shaped as a wrist watch and allows monitoring men's movements, connecting PC or mobile device via Bluetooth, and functioning as alternative mouse (in 3D mode).

However, the most important function here is that the device can be used as a navigator for ATO soldiers.

'It has graphics screen with a very good resolution to display any graphics either maps or locations', Dmytro comments.

Besides navigation the device can send small text messages to PC via satellite communication.

The first GPS-watch will be tested by Dmytro’s friend who is in ATO zone now.
