Ukrainian children will be taught to save money


The National Bank of Ukraine supported the initiative of the International Organization of financial education for children and young people and plans to organizethe Global Money Week. The action to be implemented on March,10-17, 2014.

The initiative can be participated by government agencies, banks, civic and charitable organizations, volunteers, business organizations, teachers, social workers.

The Global Money Week is a large-scale international project to give children and adolescents knowledge on funds, effective management of the family budget and savings (about 1% of children have the opportunity to gain knowledge of financial literacy). The project is implemented in the form of games, quizzes, tournaments, communication with bankers, and other events. In 2013, the project involved more than 1,000 young people from 80 countries.
