Ukrainians in Canada supported Donetsk doctors
Ukrainian diaspora in Canada gave pulmonary ventilation system to the Donetsk regional trauma hospital. The new medical equipment will be a great help for physicians who conduct over 8000 serious operations per year.
Giving the equipment Ukrainians living abroad wanted to demonstrate their support for the countrymen.
'Despite the fact that lots of Ukrainians live in Canada, they still think about Ukraine and want to support compatriots. We knew that Donetsk region needed this devices, that's why we decided to help', said Lesia Suprun, the Canadian Foundation representative.
The new device can simultaneously serve as anesthesia and make lungs work efficiently during a surgery.
