Ukrainian tourists can get Polish visas by simplified procedure

19/05/2014

Ukrainians, having previously applied for short-term tourist visas to visit Poland, may get a year multivisa. The decision on simplifying visa regime for Ukrainian tourists was made by the government of the Republic of Poland.

Polish officials also promised to implement loyal visa policy for Ukrainian citizens who are planning to visit Europe for the first time (they can be issued semi two-time (permission to enter the country twice) Schengen visa).

In the long term the Polish authorities plan to make loyal rules to cross the Ukraine-Poland border for Ukrainians living in border regions, fixing a 90-day staying in the appropriate zone after each entry, and abolition of fees for getting a permission to cross the border (the permission to be given in the second and all future times), in particular.
