UKRAINIAN SUCCESSFUL DEBUT AT PARIS ARTS FAIR 2014

20 y.o. Mykola Tolmachov, Brovary, Kyiv region, for the first time represented Ukraine at the international Paris Art fair 2014 opened on March 27.

Diana Beal, the founder of Washington Blue Square Gallery, saw Mykola’s paintings and suggested him to show his works at Paris Art Fair. The painting La Jeunesse was sold right on the first day of the fair.

In interview to the French news magazine Paris Match Mykola commented, 'Although Paris has always been the best inspiration source I cannot imagine my life and art without my native Ukraine. Right there my art receives its sense'.

Mykola Tolmachov is the winner of GRANT UART 2013, competition of Young Ukrainian artists. As a prize he received a scholarship to study in Paris.
