Ukrainian baritone wins 2019 BBC Cardiff Singer of the World competition


Andrii Kymach, 31, from Vinnytsya won 2019 BBC Cardiff Singer of World song competition in the UK.

The cash prize to the value of 20,000 pounds and the Cardiff Trophy were given to Kymach after performing pieces by Bizet, Rachmaninov and Donizetti in the final.

This year more than 400 singers from across the globe entered in 2019, with 20 singers from 15 countries selected to compete in the competition
