'Tribe' film was recognized the best debut at London film festival


For the first time in the history of Ukrainian film industry 'Tribe' film by Myroslav Slaboshpytsky won a prize at the London Film Festival (BFI London Film Festival). The work was awarded in First Feature Competition nomination (the most original and strongest directorial debut).

This year the festival presented more than 248 films from different countries of the world.

London Film Festival is one of the largest and most influential international film forums in UK. It has been annually held since 1956. The fest is organized by British Film Institute and sponsored by The Times, mainly.

The traditional festival program includes films debuting in the UK, a program of educational events, lectures, workshops, presentations, film industry events and more.
