THE BIGGEST UKRAINIAN TRIDENT MADE OF STONES
Ukrainian emblem, trident, is faced with marls on the hill near Ostrytsya village (Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast) in 1922.
The emblem author is a former Ukrainian Insurgent Army soldier Anastasiy Kozak. The Trident was made for the first anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence to commemorate all soldiers who died in that war.
The emblem is located on the place of harsh battles between Ukrainian rebels and Bolsheviks. The stone Trident is 19m high, 13m wide, and its central part is 25m.
