SUGAR BEET AND OIL LEAD UKRAINIAN PRODUCTION
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine from January to October 2014 the production of food, beverages and tobacco products grew in comparison with the same period of the last year. The sale volume of food is 21.3% and heads the list of other branches.
In particular, sugar beet processing volume, unrefined sunflower oil, soy oil, buttery and dairy products manufacturing significantly increased. The production gain was recorded in 13 Ukrainian oblasts.
Chocolate, sweet cookies, waffles, frozen cattle meat, cheese, beer, liquors and other alcohol beverages production subjected a definite sales slowdown. The most significant slowdown was recorded in Donetsk, Kyiv; they are followed by Zakarpattya, Chernivsti, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Kyiv and Lviv Oblasts.
