The only Ukrainian sound museum located in Odesa celebrated its second anniversary.
According to the museum founder and director Vasiliy Pinchuk, the number of exhibit objects has significantly increased for these two years. Odesa citizens have been greatly assisting to museum growth by donating sound equipment. Some objects are of 40's, 50's and 60's of the XX century. USSR equipment is represented by radio-gramophone, tape recorders, among foreign devices are gramophones and phonoes.
One of the latest strikes are selectophone and musical box of 1902.
Originally, the museum was planned for exhibition of both technical equipment and musical instruments even with possibility of concerts hosting. But unfortunately at the moment museum space is not sufficient for it.
