London Community Gospel Choir to give its first concert in Ukraine


November, 9 the National Palace of Arts 'Ukraina' will welcome the legendary London Community Gospel Choir whose creativity has inspired the world.

Courage, drive and magic sound have been a hallmark of the choir for over 30 years. Live polyphonic performance is truly fascinating that is why its every concert will be a sell-out. The gospel choir's creativity is a unique mix of rhythm and blues and penetrating singing.

George Michael, Jesse Norman, Sting, Mariah Carey, Diana Ross, Sir Paul McCartney, Celine Dion, Tina Turner, Eric Clapton, Tom Jones, Sir Cliff Richard, Lionel Richie, Rod Stewart, Joe Cocker, Sarah Brightman, Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and other artists consider an honor to sing with the outstanding choir.

The choir's archive also includes joint performances and recordings with Depeche Mode, The Gorillaz, Nick Cave and The Bed Seeds, Blur, Westlife, P-Diddy and many others. The choir has recorded a dozen CDs, several singles, video programs and movie soundtracks. Moreover, it performed before Nelson Mandela during his historic visit to London and was invited by Madonna to participate in the grand action 'Live 8'.
