'Kyiv-Moscow' documentary awarded at 'Czech Lion' festival


24-minute film 'Kyiv-Moscow' by Anna Lyubynetska won the prestigious Magnesia Film Prize at the festival 'Czech Lion'.

The film was recognized as 'The Best Studen Documentary'. The prize is awarded by the Czech Film and Television Academy and the Czech Film Center.

The film tells a story of Renata, young woman living in Kyiv, in the context of the current war in Ukraine, and explores the tensions caused by war and its effect on Ukrainian citizens' everyday life.

Five student films participated in this's contest.
