II Lviv Media Forum will bring together journalists
November 13-14, II Lviv Media Forum titled as 'War, politics, and corruption. Media: a player or tool?' takes place. More than 30 speakers (professional journalists) from 7 countries (Ukraine, USA, Denmark, Poland, Russia, Germany, Belarus) will be brought together at 'Arena Lviv' stadium.
Among the media participating in the event are 'American Journalism Review' (USA), 'The Kyivpost' (Ukraine), 'TV-Dozhd' (Russia), 'Telekritika' (Ukraine), 'hromadske.tv' (Ukraine), 'MYMEDIA' (Denmark), 'Die Zeit' (Germany), 'Reuters' (Ukraine), 'Foreign media Unit' (Ukraine), 'Ukraine Crisis Media Center' (Ukraine), 'Forbes Polska', 'Gazeta Wyborcza' (Poland), 'Focus' (Ukraine), First National TV-channel (Ukraine), 'The New York Times' (USA), USA), 'New time' (Ukraine) etc.
The program of the event includes presentations and discussions on such topics as 'Media and propaganda during the war', 'What is happening in the information space of Ukraine', 'Ethics in Journalism: is it possible to give more?', 'Ukraine in foreign media: how does it work?', 'PR for the media as a resource to increase trust level', 'How does the structure of media ownership affect the market', 'Media and Globalization' and others.
Lviv Media Forum is organized by NGO 'Lviv Media Forum' and the School of Journalism of the Ukrainian Catholic University.
