Handmade 3D-printer by Kharkiv inventor
It took Mykola Khrystenko from Kharkiv, a year to construct a 3D-printer. The handmade device costs 500 y.o. (finished model of the same device costs about 1000 - 3000 y.o).
After seeing 3D items creation layered technology on a British web-site the man decided to make a 3D-printer. All the parts and electronics were ordered online in China, the information was also taken in Internet.
Mykola's device allows printing any figure up to 20 cm; printing process takes about 15 minutes or tens of hours, everything depends on the figure complexity.
Currently, Kharkiv inventor prints items using plastic fiber but in future he plans to produce figures from chocolate, wax and gel.
