GogolFest-2017 to welcome 900 participants from 12 countries


Sept.7-17, Kyiv is hosting the 10th Gogolfest Contemporary Art Festival, the event that brings together music, dance, theater, opera, circus, installation, graphics, design, cinema and visual visuals. This year's event will be attended by about 900 participants from 12 countries.
This year the festival will take place in three locations: National complex 'Expocenter of Ukraine' (1 Academician Hlushkov Ave.), Dovzhenko Center (1 Vasylkivska Street) and the new Theater in Podil (20B Andriivskyi Descent).
Gogolfest 2017 theme is 'The Ark', a place to rest from the world's harsh realities and find a shelter for freedom and creativity.

The theme will be embodied in the joint Ukrainian-Swiss opera-ballet 'Ark' based on 'Solomon's Song of Songs (the Old Testament) and GogolFest ArkSquat, a 4-story building on the territory of Dovzhenko Center that will serve as a creative space during the festival.

The festival is divided into Red and Green programs. All Green program events can be attended by the the festival subscriptions. Entry tickets for Red program events are additionally bought.
