Germany's oldest orchestra is conducted by Ukrainian

39-year-old Kyrylo Karabyts became a conductor of Germany's oldest orchestra turned 525 years old.

'My choice is to play unknown, including Ukrainian music, rather than famous compositions only', Kyrylo says.

It is worth mentioning that Kyrylo often makes experiments by adding Eastern European music to orchestra repertoire.
