Ukrainian children win the chess tournament in Portugal
The Setubal regional chess tournament was held in the Portuguese city of Baieriro.The two brothers, Maksym and Matvii Farym, won in the age categories under 8 and 10 years old.The boys attend a chess club at the Dyvosvit Cultural and Educational Center in Lisbon
Calendar with Petrykivka ornaments published in France
The calendar with ornaments performed in the style of Petrykiva painting was published in France. 'The calendar is presented in two sizes and in two languages, French and Ukrainian', one of the authors of the project, Ivanna Pinyak (Strassburg) informs.The calendar contains works of Olena Kharchenko whose paintings can be found in museums of Ukraine, the USA, Russia and private collections.The cost of the calendar is 12 euros

The independence of Ukraine celebrated in Singapore
Ukrainians in Singapore celebrated the 27th anniversary of the independence of Ukraine and the 100th anniversary of the restoration of Ukrainian statehood.Ambassador Dmytro Senik delivered a speech at the Embassy of Ukraine, the participants honored those who gave their lives in the struggle for Ukraine's independence with a minute of silence.In addition, pupils of the Sabbath Ukrainian school showed the performance, as well as welcome greetings with the Ukrainian Independence Day in Ukrainian, English and Chinese.Photo: FB-page Embassy
