A PICTURESQUE UKRAINIAN VILLAGE INVITES TO FOOD FESTIVAL
On May 14, 2014 Kolochava village, Zakarpattya region, hostS traditional gastronomic Riplyanka Festival.
Riplyanka is traditional dish of Kolochava village cooked from mashed potato (called “ripa” in local dialect) and maize flour.
Riplyanka is the symbol of unity for local families.
The festival agenda:
- bookshop-museum opening;
- tour by Kolochava railway;
- crossing Kolochava river by air in a trough;
- riplyanka degustation: with mushrooms, sour cream, bacon, fresh cheese and other tastes.
