16 y.o. Kamila Hryshchenko crowned the World Youth Chess Champion


16-year-old Kamila Hryshchenko from Kramatorsk (Donetsk Oblast) ranked fifth in rapid and won blitz chess at the World Youth Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships held in Granada, Spain. Overall, 178 chess players from 22 countries took part in the tournament.

The young girl has repeatedly won regional and all-Ukrainian competitions. Last year Kamila won the title of European rapid chess champion among girls under 16.
